The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix) & Sabrina The Teenage Witch (Hulu, Amazon Prime Video)

Netflix released The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a new TV series based ever so slightly on the 1990’s TV show Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Both the old and the new feature a half-mortal, half-witch protagonist and of course, her two aunts.  But the story lines drift apart quickly there.

The 90’s show is fun and lighthearted. Humor and fast thinking often solve challenges that arise.

Netflix’s rendition, is dark, scary, and intense.   The show goes deeper into magic and its effects.

Both shows are available to stream with The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, available on Hulu and Amazon Prime Video.

Who may like it?

Fans of the original series, fans of SciFi and Fantasy, and potentially fans of Charmed and Supernatural.
